Coaching supports parents in implementing Nurtured
Heart by addressing issues specific to their children and
helping tweak their use of Nurtured Heart in their

Academic Planning, Assessment & Career Exploration for Adolescents
Our complete assessment service includes the following (limited packages available upon request):

  • Initial in-office consultation and information session with student and parents.  

At this meeting, we will explain my services and gather background information on your academic and work experiences,
hobbies, goals, leisure time activities, and other information pertinent to your self-discovery.


  • Individual standardized assessments of achievement in math, reading and written language; personality type;
    interests; and study skills.          

These assessments are specifically geared to adolescents.  By reviewing the results of the five assessments together, we are
able to develop a profile that will help you gain greater insight into yourself and guide us in making recommendations regarding
academic planning and future career possibilities.


  • Follow up interpretive meeting to discuss assessment results and recommendations.


  • Written portfolio of assessment results and recommendations.

Our Services
Teacher Training and Coaching

  • Initial Nurtured Heart training class.

Nurtured Heart school training consists of four hours of initial staff
development.  Through these classes, teachers and other school
staff come to understand the rationale behind using this approach
in school, and gain working knowledge of how to implement the
Nurtured Heart techniques.  At the end of the class, teachers and
staff leave ready to implement proven concrete strategies to assist
with classroom management and bring out the best in every
student.


  • Follow up coaching sessions.

Follow up coaching to support implementation of the Nurtured Heart
Approach is available through two options: whole staff interactive
coaching sessions or coaching with individual teachers in their
classrooms.
